Now with over 75 athletes, Calgary Adrenaline proudly fields both competitive and developing teams and has taken their winter training to a 20,000 square foot facility with hitting tunnels, designated pitcher development area, 10,000 sq ft turfed field area, and a smart board equipped team classroom.
The teams are still finding success at all levels, locally, nationally and throughout the US. The organization has also taken to providing professionally instructed clinics throughout the year and adding in high level specialized coaches.
A group of coaches with years of experience in the fastpitch world had a vision to start a competitive organization in Calgary that would allow players to compete all over Canada and the US. In their first year of operating, they had 50 players form 5 teams to compete in GPLS, CWFA, and CIFA. With players from all over the city they utilized school gyms and community centres throughout the winter to train.
One of the teams helped spread the word about this new thriving club with taking a Gold win at provincials, silver at Westerns, gold in the GPLS league and a second-place spot in the Division I Women’s industrial league.
